It seems everyone's newest Sunday night ritual is tuning in for the newest episode of HBO's incredible adaptation of "The Last of Us." The show has so far been successful in staying true to the source material while also carving its own path forward as it gains momentum in culture. The story follows middle-aged Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and teenager Ellie Williams (Bella Ramsey) as they traverse the United States two decades after a virus apocalypse that ended humanity as we know it. And while the science-fiction and horror elements are riveting and keep viewers on the edge of their seats, it's the rugged charm of Pascal who is captivating audiences.

Pascal has been in the public eye for a while now, originally gaining fame for playing the character Oberyn Martell on "Game of Thrones," going on to earn further recognition in shows such as "Narcos" and "The Mandalorian." On the Star Wars show, his face is covered by a mask for most of the series, therefore eliminating any opportunities to admire the actor's good looks. Pascal is on-screen almost every second of "The Last of Us," though, and there is no obstacle blocking his attractiveness, something many thirsty Twitter viewers were quick to point out. Let's look at some of the best thirst tweets so we can get a full appreciation of Pascal's fan club!

Pedro Pascal: The Daddy

Some people find the use of the word "daddy" uncomfortable when referring to older, attractive men. Pedro Pascal is not someone who feels weirded out by the sentiment, embracing his fans who use this title to describe him:

Fans absolutely love when celebrities are in on a joke, and Pascal really gets into the "daddy" discussion here when asked about comparing him to best friend and fellow actor Oscar Isaac, much to the satisfaction of thirsty fans in the comments under the tweet. We'll leave some of the more scandalous responses up to your own viewing discretion. We agree with Pedro though: daddy is indeed a state of mind!

Even interviewers on the red carpet are getting into the daddy trend with Pascal. The Chilean actor responds by saying he's the "cool, slutty daddy" adding an even more sexual spin to the meme than before!

This thirst tweet of two women screaming in unison represents many fans while watching "The Last of Us." Despite the intense action happening on the screen, some people are simply entranced by Pascal's screen presence and attractiveness.

Now let's look at the other side of the meme. This fan on Twitter indicates they've had enough of sexualizing Pascal in the way other fans do, with other comments indicating they'd get uncomfortable if reporters and media kept making offhand remarks about their looks the way people do with Pascal.

Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac: The Ultimate DILF Duo

We all love a great Hollywood duo, right? Well, Pedro Pascal and fellow "Star Wars" actor Oscar Isaac have certainly become just that. They filmed the movie "Triple Frontier" together in 2019, and have done a ton of press and interviews together in the time since. Their natural chemistry and awareness of the internet shipping them has led to some great thirst tweets:

This tweet shows a compilation of Pascal and Isaac's friendliest moments, replete with a caption about how they look like a loving, long-term gay couple. It's pretty awesome that both men are so comfortable showing platonic affection to one another that they don't care when fans make these types of jokes.

Pascal and Isaac's friendship is also very playful as indicated in this interview in which Pascal says Isaac looks like a Muppet. This joke has endured for a while online since the interview since it was so random and out of place, yet hilarious!

People have long teased that iconic actors Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan are in a relationship due to their tight friendship, and this fan was wondering whether Pascal and Isaac are simply continuing on this legacy for a new generation.

Even Google thinks Pedro and Oscar are together! This fan searched for "Pedro Pascal boyfriend" and pictures of the two spending time together littered the screen. The algorithm knows best, right?

Pedro Pascal: Gay Icon?

Pedro Pascal is also popular with the LGBTQ+ community because he has been one of the strongest advocates for queer acceptance in Hollywood. He has been supportive of his transgender sister through the years, along with playing along with gay fans who tease about his own sexuality being fluid. This is a sign of a secure person, and it would be a wonderful world if every straight person was as engaged and aware as Pascal.

Pascal is so comfortable with people saying he might be gay that he favorites these tweets on his own account. Talk about a care-free king! We definitely stan.

The gays also love a young Pedro Pascal, and why wouldn't they? He looks very charming and happy in this throwback photo a fan found on Twitter.

This fan is still trying to grapple with the death of Pascal's "Game of Thrones" character, Oberyn Martell. The character was bisexual on the show, demonstrating Pascal's willingness to take on LGBTQ+ roles.

These tweets are pretty self-explanatory. It's a collection of Pascal's support for various groups within the queer community, and it's much appreciated.

This user was ecstatic at the idea of Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke starring in a film similar to "Brokeback Mountain". Hollywood definitely needs more queer themes in mainstream movies.
