There's a sequel brewing up for gay fan favorite "Hocus Pocus," from 1993, and stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all back for the new movie, Today reported.

The trailer introduces a trio of fresh faces: After hearing that witches gain their powers on their 16th birthdays, three teenage girls (played by Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, and Whitney Peak) take to the woods and utter an incantation that brings the Sanderson sisters back to life with a cry of, "Lock up your children — yes, Salem, we're back!"

Quoting from a Disney press release, Today noted, "It's been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge."

Added the release: "Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem on All Hallow's Eve."

The original was written by Neil Cuthbert and Mick Garris, and directed by Kenny Ortega. The new film is directed by Anne Fletcher from a script by Jen D'Angelo.

The trailer promises the film will hit theaters for "the Halloween Season." "Hocus Pocus 2" will stream on Disney+ on Sept. 30.
