It's looking like the dismantled British boy band One Direction is getting back together to celebrate their 10th anniversary in July.

Fans of 1D noticed that its members Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson began following former bandmate Zayn Malik again on Twitter, Billboard points out. Malik left 1D prior to the group's last album "Made in the A.M.," which was released in 2015.

While everyone has been creating solo music, Payne confirmed Monday night to "Late Late Show" host James Corden that 1D is literally getting the band back together.

"I'm not allowed to say too much obviously, because I'd be giving it away. But we've been speaking a lot more at the moment," Payne told Corden from his London apartment. "I think that we're all feeling that 10 years is a very special moment," Payne said.

He added that he recently talked with Horan, who he hadn't spoken to in a long time, and that he's also chatted with Tomlinson.

"Yeah, it's been really nice, it's a nice moment," Payne said.

Page Six reported Monday that 1D is currently getting ideas on how to celebrate themselves, which could be a TV special and a new single.

"There's still a long way to go and a lot of hurdles. Obviously, at the moment anything they do would have to be done virtually," a source told the newspaper. "But there's a lot of goodwill between them now and they want to make something happen."

One Direction came together on the seventh season of the British version of "The X Factor" in 2010 and released five albums along with a number of chart-topping singles, including hits like "What Makes You Beautiful," "Live While We're Young," "Story of My Life" and more.

Watch Payne, who also performed his new song "Midnight" with musician Alesso, talk to Corden below.
