Gentlemen's Vintage Show Features Carnaby Street Retrospective

Mark Thompson READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Men's vintage clothing is a market that is often over-looked because of its hard-to-find nature. Not any more.

Come November 9th & 10th, those in New York can shop from the collections of some of our country's top men's vintage fashion dealers. These collections are where the top fashion designers turn to for inspiration. Take advantage of this opportunity. It happens just once a year.

London Swings: Carnaby Street to King's Road 1964-1974

On a street in London's Soho neighborhood, young fashion and pop culture collided - and the explosion continues to be heard a half-century later. The people, like their clothing, were bright and bold, it was the center of the 1960s fashion revolution, it was Carnaby Street.

The unique exhibition, curated specifically for this event, will feature quintessential labels like Biba, Mary Quant and John Stephen, which are not only rare in the U.S. but rare period.

Also showcased will be other boutique labels such as Granny Takes a Trip, Take 6, Bus Stop, John Marks, Irving Sellers and Chelsea Girl.

Showgoers and online viewers will be able to travel back and buy fashions from this influential decade.
