‘Top Chef’s’ Matias Ochoa is Cooking with Fire

They say the Influencer era is on the decline. But we can’t help to second-guess that when we see Mataios Ochoa. This 26-year-old has taken his game from timeline to TV, and we love watching him on both. 

But let’s start with his social media presence. With over three million followers on Instagram, he’s quite the success story. He posts lots of pictures of his well-honed body, its tattooed tapestry of athletic sex appeal. 

Speaking of sports, Matias has appeared on the American reality show “Exatlon Estados Unidos,” which airs through Telemundo. It’s kind of like “Big Brother,” but with more sports challenges. 

From Argentina, Matias seems to be very active. He’s got vim and vigor for days. When he does sit down, it’s usually for a spicy selfie. We are thankful for those little breaks. 

But Matias also simmers in the kitchen. In fact, he was on season four of Top Chef VIP, a Spanish celebrity version of the cooking reality show. He even won a few challenges and made it pretty far on the show. 

It makes sense because back on social media Matias is very charming. It seems he resonates with his generation because of how relatable he is, and kind of casual. 

But for the most part, it’s his good looks that brings all the boys (and girls) the yard. Often shirtless, Matias gives off enough heat to cook one of his meals on Top Chef. Which leads us to one question: what are we having for dessert?
