One Million Moms Says WTF Over Cussin' on Disney Channel

Damn, these broads have a lot of time on their hands.

One Million Moms, the media watchdog arm of the anti-gay American Family Association, continued their ongoing crusade against anything remotely resembling fun, with a campaign against the Disney Channel over (what they perceive as) obscured use of a swear words on the cable network's "Doc McStuffins" program.

They are outraged and appalled again, even if they don't wan to admit it.

The latest OMM campaign reads:

One Million Moms attempts not to use the words outraged and appalled often, but that is exactly how we feel about the Disney Channel allowing curse words to be included in their programming. "Doc McStuffins" is an animated program that many found to be a clean show, but we have recently found that this is no longer true. "Doc McStuffins" includes curse words and bleeps to cover up foul language during this cartoon. Disney Channel has questionable content at times, especially when it portrays kids showing disrespect towards parents and adults. However, many still consider, or at least hope, it is a family-friendly channel since it is a network created for children, particularly the Disney Junior division, which is primarily for preschoolers.

During one episode of "Doc McStuffins," the dragon stuffed animal said "sh*tty," purposely placed immediately before a sneeze which was so it was not easy to catch, but it was still there. Just this week the program also used a beep to bleep out a curse word.

This is not material that should be included in a children's program on a kid's network. Disney Channel typically airs episodes repeatedly in the form of reruns so this is not a safe show for your family to watch. If this is allowed by Disney Junior in programing designed for their youngest audiences, there is no telling what they will sneak into shows designed for older audiences.

This latest crusade by OMM isn't the first time that the Christian media watchdog group has put Mickey Mouse in the "time out chair." As reported by EDGE , in 2013, the group boycotted The Disney Channel over a storyline involving lesbian parents on an episode of the cable network's program "Good Luck Charlie." EDGE also reported on the group's regular protest of Walt Disney World for allowing the unofficial Gay Days event to take take place yearly in Orlando, Florida.

OMM came to national attention in 2012 when it attacked JC Penney for hiring Ellen DeGeneres as its spokeswoman.

The group, which is also known for attacking anything they deem sexually suggestive has an ironic 69 thousand followers on Facebook.
