A new report from Page Six claims advisers for President-elect Donald Trump are urging him to dance with Caitlyn Jenner, who is reportedly attending the event.

"It's a brilliant idea," a member of the incoming administration told the newspaper. They added the dance could help ease tensions between the Trump administration and the LGBTQ community, which is worrying of how Trump and his cabinet will handle LGBTQ rights.

The political insider also said a dance with Jenner, a longtime and outspoken conservative, would also help relations within the GOP.

"Time heals all wounds," the source told Page Six. "The image of Trump dancing with Caitlyn would send a strong message that he supports gay rights and trans rights. A picture is worth a thousand tweets."

A rep for Jenner told the newspaper: "Can't deal in hypotheticals. We'll just have to wait and see."

It was reported last week Jenner was invited to Trump's inauguration. Though she's not personally confirmed she's attending the event, People magazine reports sources close to the reality star say she is indeed going. The magazine also notes Jenner was not directly invited by Trump but rather is a guest of the American Unity Fund, a non-profit LGBTQ conservative organization.

"Caitlyn sees this as a chance to bring attention to LGBTQ causes and she is committed to protecting human rights no matter the political party in power," the source told People. "She has no problem speaking out if Republicans fail to protect equal rights."

On Wednesday, the transgender activist took to Twitter to offer a message to the LGBTQ community and the GOP.
