Dyke Night Hosts Second Saturday Queer Idol Contest

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

On Saturday, October 14, Dyke Night hosts their Second Saturday party, featuring a Queer Idol Contest. The event will be held at Machine Nightclub on Boylston.

"There's something for everyone at Second Saturday," said organizer Kristen Porter about Boston's largest LGBTQ/Women's Dance Party. The event features DJ Mike Giller, uber-talented gravity-defying pole dancers, one of the largest dance floors in the city, three bars and monthly drink specials, air hockey/pool tables, state-of-the-art lighting and sound system along with your fave queer staff and hundreds of friends new and old.

This Second Saturday features the Queer Idol Contest in the lounge. Miranda will pick the top karaoke singers of the night to compete against each other at midnight for prizes, including $50 cash. Bring your friends and fans as the audience will pick who is named Queer Idol!

Karaoke in the lounge opens at 9 p.m. with Miranda Wrights. And the Inside Machine dance party with Guest DJ Mike Giller runs from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Sit, sip and sing, or play some pool or air hockey and enjoy the show!

Or dance to the seamless spins of the best in current pop/dance, hip-hop, and throwback favorites with DJ Mike Giller in the dance room.
