Love triumphed in the end.

Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna were canceled after authorities there prevented a horrific massacre that several suspects allegedly planned to carry out against concertgoers. But none of that stopped a same-sex couple from getting engaged among a throng of Swifties.

According to Billboard, viral video of the proposal shows how "a swarm of Swifties applauds as one man slides a ring on his partner's finger, wiping tears from his eyes."

Billboard added that, "According to fans online, the moment occurred as the crowd was singing 'Love Story' - a song that has soundtracked countless other Swiftie proposals at the 14-time Grammy winner's concerts over the years."

"The sweet exchange happened on the same day Swift had been scheduled to take the stage at Ernst Happel Stadium for the first of three back-to-back nights in Vienna," Billboard noted, before adding that the concerts were scrubbed in the wake of police preventing an alleged plot in which "two teenage Austrian citizens" intended to "kill as many people as possible outside the concert venue" in a terror attack.

The crowd of Swifties had "gathered in the city streets to trade friendship bracelets and sing the pop star's songs in place of attending the canceled shows," the music magazine explained.

The overjoyed couple received nothing but support from the crowd of fans around them, Billboard went on to add. The video shows the happy couple embrace repeatedly and wipe their eyes as the crowd continues to rejoice.

More support flowed in the post's comments.

"these kinds of videos will slowly mend my heart ❤️‍🩹," one fan posted.

Added another: "That is so amazing and that is WHY girls AND boys need this safe space - As a men i never felt so safe.on concerts 💗❤️🫶🏾❤️💗"

A third underscored the defiantly joyous nature of the moment, writing, "One of the first things my dad said was 'I feel so bad for all those proposals that aren't going to happen' 🫶🏻 we can create joy anywhere!!"
