Gus Kenworthy Celebrates His Birthday with His Cakes on His Cake

Gus Kenworthy celebrated his birthday in the most Gus Kenworthy way possible.

The out Olympian took to Instagram this week to share snaps from the celebration. In a series of posts, a shirtless Kenworthy is seen with a large birthday cake, lit with candles. A second closer up photo shows what's actually on the cake – a photo of the athlete riding his bike in his now-infamous stuffed animal jockstrap – with his cakes out, of course. The writing on the cake reads: "Happy birthday Gus!" and "Take a bite of Gus's birthday cake."

Kenworthy added a lengthy caption to the post – but for a good cause:

"It's my birthday today and in lieu of affirmations, gifts or nudes (or in addition to them) if you want to wish me a happy birthday you can do so by clicking the cute lil' link in my bio and being one of the first people to make a tax-deductible donation to my @aidslifecycle ride! Next year's ride will, sadly, be the last one that they're doing but because of that I'm extra grateful and excited to be participating."

Of course, Kenworthy's comments section was flooded with happy birthday comments and warm replies.
